CGF INSPECTION Per-shipment full inspection for Sofa
CGF provides 100% Full Pre-Shipment Inspection service for sofas, also known as piece-by-piece sorting inspection. Unlike random sampling, every single sofa will be fully examined one by one once production is finished. During inspection, defective units will be separated and coordinated for on-site rework to improve pass rate before container loading. Main checkpoints for sofa full inspection:
• Verify overall dimension, seat depth, height and color matching against approved sample.
• Inspect upholstery fabric: stain, scratch, loose thread, color difference, wrinkle and damage.
• Check wooden/metal frame stability, joint tightness, no squeaky noise when sitting.
• Test cushion resilience, foam hardness, zipper, buttons and decorative accessories.
• Examine stitching straightness, seam gap, corner workmanship and uneven filling.
• Audit dust cover, export carton, wrapping protection, shipping mark and labeling.

Complete Sofa Inspection Checklist
Compare sofa size, shape, armrest, leg style and color with your approved pre-production sample. Check color shading between separate sets.
Inspect stain, dirt, scratches, holes, loose threads, creases, discoloration and printing deviation. Check fabric grain direction consistency.
Check straight stitching, uniform seam allowance, neat corners, no exposed foam, no sagging upholstery, aligned patterns.
Rock sofa gently to test stability; check frame joint tightness, wooden leg installation, no cracking, no abnormal squeaking sound.
Test foam resilience, cushion flatness; check zipper function, button fixation, pillow filling and decorative parts.
Inspect dust bag, foam corner protection, outer carton strength. Verify shipping mark, barcode, label information match order requirement.
Non-conforming sofas will be isolated on site. We will push the factory to implement on-site rework. All repaired goods will undergo secondary inspection before shipment.
