CGF INSPECTION Pre-shipment inspection for Electromotor

CGF provides professional Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) service for industrial electromotors before shipment. Our qualified inspectors implement on-site random sampling inspection in factory based on international AQL standards. We identify potential mechanical & electrical defects at the final production stage, effectively reduce failure risk after delivery and avoid costly overseas returns. Main checkpoints for electromotor pre-shipment inspection:

• Verify overall dimension, shaft size, mounting type and model specification against approved technical drawing.

• Inspect housing coating: scratch, paint peeling, rust, deformation, casting defect and oil leakage.

• Check nameplate data, voltage, power, IP protection grade, marking clarity and compliance label.

• Inspect terminal box, wiring terminal, cable interface, sealing condition and connector tightness.

• Carry out no-load running test, check abnormal noise, vibration, temperature rise and rotation smoothness.

• Test insulation resistance, grounding continuity and safety protection structure.

• Audit anti-rust treatment, plastic wrapping, wooden crate reinforcement, shipping mark and export packaging.

Description

CGF Pre-Shipment Inspection for Electromotor

Sourcing large industrial electromotors, three-phase motors, high-voltage motors and driving motors from Chinese manufacturers? CGF Inspection provides reliable Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) service for electromotors before goods leave the factory.
Pre-Shipment Inspection will be scheduled when over 80% of bulk production is finished. Our inspectors carry out random sampling according to recognized AQL standards to evaluate overall quality consistency. All non-conformities will be photographed, recorded and notified to the factory for rectification before container loading.

Complete Electromotor Inspection Checklist

Specification & Dimension Verification

Measure overall size, shaft diameter, shaft extension length, mounting hole position and flange size. Confirm motor model, power, speed match your technical requirements and approved sample.

Casing & Surface Appearance Inspection

Check motor housing for paint damage, scratches, rust spots, casting pores, cracks and deformation. Inspect oil seal end cover for traces of oil leakage.

Nameplate & Marking Audit

Verify nameplate parameters including power, voltage, frequency, IP rating, insulation class and serial number. Check warning labels, rotation mark and certification logos are complete and legible.

Terminal Box & Internal Wiring Check

Inspect terminal block tightness, cable entry sealing, wire arrangement, grounding connection. Prevent loose wiring, poor sealing leading to water or dust ingress.

No-Load Operation Performance Test

Switch on power for running test. Monitor abnormal friction noise, excessive vibration, overheating and irregular rotation speed.

Electrical Safety Test

Complete insulation resistance test and continuity of protective earth circuit to meet standard safety requirements.

Anti-Rust Treatment & Export Packaging Check

Inspect anti-rust oil on shaft, plastic protective covers, moisture-proof desiccant inside crate. Check wooden box strength, shockproof filler and correct shipping marks.

English Inspection Report

After on-site audit, you will receive a full inspection report including dimension data, defect photos, testing records and comprehensive quality conclusion.
