An inspection that fails creates an immediate logistics question: where do the goods sit while the problem is solved? Leaving them at the factory hands custody to the party with the least interest in protecting your claim. CGF’s storage service exists for exactly this moment — goods that need somewhere quality-controlled to wait, whether for two days of correction or two months of staged releases.

What the storage service covers

  • Inbound staging — goods received, counted and photographed on arrival, so quantity disputes end at the door.
  • Batch storage — lots held separately and traceably, never mixed with another client’s stock.
  • Order-based picking — units or cartons pulled against your order list, packed to your instructions.
  • Split release — part of a batch ships now, the remainder holds, each release documented.
  • JIT dispatch — stock released on your sales calendar, timed to vessels, promotions or warehouse slots.

How storage connects to QC

The finished-goods store at our Dongguan base sits beside the inspection line and the rework benches, which changes what storage means here. A failed lot can move from final inspection straight into correction, then through the 100% re-check, into storage and out on your schedule — one chain of custody, one set of records, no third-party handoffs where accountability goes fuzzy. The services overview shows the full flow.

What you see while goods sit

Storage here is not a black hole. Inbound photos and counts fix what entered; stock status appears in the job reports you already receive; and every movement — release, partial pick, return to correction — is documented with quantities. If you want eyes on the shelf, a live video walk-through can be arranged, the same as for the rework floor.

Suitable goods and honest limits

The store handles products on pallets and in cartons — consumer and industrial lines alike — the output of the inspection and assembly work around it. It is a QC-linked buffer, not a climate-controlled hazardous-goods depot or a bond-certified facility; goods needing those regimes belong in specialised storage, and we will say so. Nothing is stored or shipped that has not passed its check: the release rule on this base is absolute.

Questions buyers ask

How long can goods stay?

Jobs are quoted with a storage window that matches your plan — days for a correction cycle, weeks for staged releases; extending is a conversation, not a crisis.

Can you arrange onward shipping?

Released goods can be handed to your forwarder or coordinated to a vessel schedule from our side — tell us the destination and terms when booking.
